Who are you?
Westwood Baptist Church has been lifting up Jesus Christ since 1957. At Westwood Baptist Church, we believe that God’s Word provides the only solid foundation for life. We believe God has a purpose for every person. That is why we make no apology for preaching and teaching the Bible. Our desire is to be a culturally diverse church. You’ll see people of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds.
What are the services like?
We have a relaxed but focused atmosphere. We worship the Lord with a blend of old and newer hymns and choruses that help us engage head and heart. You’ll typically hear a sermon from Charles McBryde, our Senior pastor. Our services end with an invitation to respond to the Lord.

How can I become a member of Westwood Baptist Church?
Persons seeking membership are asked to meet with a ministerial staff member. We also invite you to visit a membership orientation class that is taught by Pastor Charles. He tells the Westwood story and you will find out where we’ve been, where we are going and why we do the things we do at WBC. Feel free to call the church and set up a time to talk with one of our pastors if you need a better understanding of our church membership process, (432) 337-3948.
What are your office hours?
Our office hours are 9am to 4pm, Monday through Thursday. The office is closed for holidays and does have shortened hours during some holiday weeks.
